Campus Unites for Sexual and Reproductive Health (CUFS) is a campus-based initiative that brings together students, educators, and health advocates to promote SRHR among young people in Nigerian universities.
By training student peer educators and creating campus health clubs, CUFS ensures that young people have access to accurate, non-judgmental sexual and reproductive health information.
Key Activities
- Peer education and campus health campaigns — Student-led awareness events and information sessions
- Student health clubs and advocacy groups — Establishing sustainable campus-based SRHR clubs
- Workshops on consent, relationships, and reproductive rights — Interactive sessions addressing critical issues young people face
- Linkage to SRH services and counseling — Connecting students with healthcare providers for confidential services
Impact
CUFS has reached over 1,000 students across 4 universities, trained 40+ peer educators, and established 12 active campus health clubs that continue to promote SRHR education.
