SWAG Initiative 2026

As we step into 2026, SWAG Initiative reaffirms its unwavering commitment to empowering adolescent girls and young women across Nigeria. This year marks our 10th anniversary — a decade of transforming lives, championing gender equality, and building a future where every girl can thrive.

A Decade of Impact

Since our founding in 2016, SWAG Initiative has reached over 10,000 girls across multiple states in Nigeria. From menstrual hygiene education to leadership development, our programs have created lasting change in communities that need it most. In 2025 alone, we expanded our Girls Leading Change (GLC) project to Kaduna State and empowered over 110 women in IDP camps with seed grants and vocational training.

What's Ahead in 2026

This year, we are launching several ambitious initiatives:

  • Digital Literacy for Girls: A new program to equip girls with basic computer and internet skills, preparing them for the digital economy.
  • Expanded SRHR Outreach: Taking our Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights education to 5 additional communities across the FCT and Kaduna.
  • Youth Leadership Summit: A national summit bringing together 200 young female advocates from all 36 states to share experiences and build solidarity.
  • Scholarship Fund: Launching a dedicated scholarship fund to support 50 girls through secondary school education.

How You Can Help

Our mission is ambitious, but we cannot achieve it alone. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every shared story brings us closer to a Nigeria where every girl can fulfill her potential. Whether you contribute ₦5,000 or ₦500,000, your support directly funds programs that change lives.

Join us in making 2026 our most impactful year yet. Together, we stand with every girl.

"When you invest in a girl, you invest in a nation. Every girl we empower today becomes a leader, a mother, a changemaker tomorrow." — Margaret Bolaji, Founder
